speed problems using TOR

    Lately when I have been using TOR it is going rediculously slow, I'm on dial up and it is taking forever to get to any page when I use it. I have it set up like it says to. It took 30 seconds to get to its home page it never used to. I run it through firefox. What could be the cause of this? I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling but still the same. Is anyone else experiancing really bad slow downs with it lately? Any ideas how i can speed it up a bit because its stupidly slow now? I havent made any changes to the configuration.
