    Rather sad than interesting... I don't use clamav but it is very sad seeing them sold!

    It depends on the company buying. They have Snort, so that accounts for something. The same team is kept.
    And given the licence (GPL), it's not going away.
    I think it's, well, interesting, i don't know what will come out.

    While I would never use a mollusk based security product :rolleyes:, I respect Snort. Perhaps 'Clam' could be changed to 'Grunt'.

    Will the latest virus signature be available to the subscriber only, that seems to be what Snort was last time I checked. I dont really use Clam AV.
