sound blaster 16 pci

    :oops: how embarrising need help

    i bought this sound card but it didnt come with a manual and there website sucks

    i look everywhere for info but its only text

    i need to know on the plugs in there colored red blue black green which plugsins do what


    and is there an audio in plug in which color is that

    these are not the exact card you have but one of them should have the same plugs. these are sound blaster cards

    maybe this one This should be the one,just that you don't have the orange plug everything should be the same

    hm i dunno that looks kinda off i only have 4 plugs and i could had sworn my green one was the mic but not certin as for the others i never figured out


    wow my sound card sucks compare to that one

    you just don't have the orange line out 3 plug. everything should be the same.

    you can just make out the images next to the plugs to see what they are


    The blue red green and black are the same on all of them.

    hey that last pic thats mine huggggggggggggggggg yup that the one

    so the stuff it does should be the same as the above pics just no orange

    I'm a little late getting in on this, and it looks like you've already got answers you're happy with, but what the heck ...

    Can't help with the other external ports, and don't think I've ever used any of them anyway (never had a mike, for instance). But on every soundcard I've ever had that included a game/MIDI connector, the speaker/headphone output was the socket right next to it.
