soulseek rules

    Hi
    i would like to know good rules for soul seek

    can u give some advises?

    u have two options, just trust it and allow all or customize the rules. if u trust it, its like using zonealarm since thats how it works (trust or deny all), there shouldnt be too much risk. neways ill now go have a look see and check for rules at the outpost forum.

    update: mantrasiva (is that you?) posted a request for rules but until they answer reading this link

    yeah
    but they don't work 100%!
    often the others users can't browse my files and can't download my files!

    do u use soulseek??

    i dont use soulseek so ur best option would be to allow all until proper rules are created or u can try to create the rules. in any case, good luck w/ soulseek.

    and mate what's about winmx??
    do u use rules for it ?
    maybe i can use them with soulseek..

    why would rules for winmx work with soulseek? and again i dont use winmx. have u checked the outpost forum?

    Does the help file or web site have the information you would need to define your firewall rules?
    Also, remember in cases like this your logs are your friend and should provide the information you need in the way of blocked events.

    Once you know the ports required your rule(s) can be defined.
