Any URL will be most helpful. I need to find the matching CLSID codes that open for instance My Computer, Control panel, etc. and the other applets and am at a full momentary loss where to find them at on the web. I once collected the whole list once from neowins forums but am drawing nothing but pure blanks tonight.

There are each individual codes that enable opening a good long list of these type applets.

Any assisstance to help cover my mind blank is much appreciated.

    Thanks EASTER

These are really nice for displaying the folder contents in Menu View - some have
been incorporated into the later Windows Versions.

On Win2K I still use the ControlPanel shortcut so I can position the applet near the top of
    My Start Menu:

Did you ever use cpl shortcuts to open directly to a property sheet tab?
For example, the command line syntax to open to the Advanced Tab on the
    System Properties Sheet is

    Control SYSDM.CPL,,4

Where 4 designates the 5th tab since the tabs start numbering at 0

    For the Destop Properties sheet,

    Control Desk.cpl,,n

    Where n= the tab number.

A systray utility can let you organize your shortcuts, where you can easily input
the syntax for each control panel appplet you want quick access to:

Many sincere thanks for this assistance, the reason for this is i'm playing with Iceman's Flash Dock
    http://www.jonmega.com/iceman/stuff/flashdock/

I hope to edit the flash files since i work a lot with Adobe File anyway to fashion a config to open those different shortcuts from it.

Check it out! All your replys are of great help, again my thanks.

I'm using Stardock ObjectDock which is free to. Of course there is paid version. I'm gonna check those CLSIDs if I can use those with ObjectDock.
