Sooflymami's laptop isn't turning on.

    Pennsylvania.
    The laptop only has one light on near the bottom of the finger pad and the other lights are not turning on. The light is only on on the left side. When she presses the power button no other lights turn on. What could be causing this? is this because of the power cord or the hardware in the laptop?

    Hi.

    * Remove the battery and disconnect the AC adapter, and then connect only the AC adapter and boot it up .. ?

    * press & hold the power button 10 seconds, then press & hold the power button again .. ?

    * Disconnect all external devices from it .. any USB, etc .. and try to boot it up .. ?..

    * any blinking lights .. ?
