The latest PP reference file have detected this file to be a trojan:

    C:\Program Files\Sonic\DLA\install\ssdiag.exe

Can somebody who uses Sonic software confirm this is a legit file?

    Thanks

    Hi UntouchableJ :)

Checking it with SysInfo.org gives..> "Configuration and DOS Diagnostic for DOS and Windows platforms" so could be legit for the program in question.

You know where the file is located, navigate to it and upload to JOTTI'S ONLINE MALWARE SCAN where it will be scanned by 11 reputable scanners and results given.

    HTH. :)

    Cheers, TAS

The file came up clean there. I also checked the properties for ssdiag.exe and it said:

Shared Driver Component from Copyright © 2003 Sonic Solutions.

So I guess this is another false positive.

    Thanks
