Some questions before purchasing a new HDD!

    Do reformat it to NTFS. It will have FAT32 when you buy it, just because it then can be used both for Mac and PC.
    But NTFS is a better disc system. Especially if you are going to use it for back-up you can get in trouble because FAT32 has a limitation for the size of files of 4 GB.

    I have seen a couple HDD's (From my friends) and all of them came with NTFS by default. :D :rolleyes:

    FAT32 reconized more than 4 gb its FAT16 i use NTFS for windows and FAT 32 for rest drive partition. You can use NTFS as well the advantage of Fat 32 is recognised by all even linux OS without any extra support install :)
