Some Qs about Prevx SOL Free?

I want to try it and have some questions.

1- Does real time component of it scans the executables on disk read/ write or execution? I saw it giving red tray icon status, that means there is some sort of real time malware scanning. If this is true, how is it different from full prevx paid version?

2- Any one using it with CIS and GesWall? Any conflicts?

3- How thorough is the on-demand scanner of SOL for malare?

1. On execution but it does system scans behind the scenes but if you want to see all scans go into the GUI>Settings>Scheduler>Untick Do not show any window while scanning! Also if you want to see more of the Anti-Malware component raise your Heuristics levels!
2. I'm not sure but maybe other users can answer or give it a try!
3. It scans all places where malware could be, but the free version will detect malware and just remove adware and the MBR Rootkit for free all other infections require a cleanup license!

And again the Facebook version is still a free full version of PSO that would protect all your online banking and credentials http://www.prevx.com/safebook.asp

I have been using Prevx SOL free along with GeSWall and no problems so far...

 

And is free only for private use?

 

I will leave that Question for PrevxHelp but the facebook version will have an end at some point!
