Some large steps for echo ws please

Have been reading the docs & would like some steps to get started.

Have 2 pc's on xp pro using a lan network. Tower has a large external hard drive. The notebook pc just to learn how to do this. Hope to migrate this to the tower & 3 other client pc's.

NOw what needs to be installed/used to get the tower to backup the other pc's? Noticed the doc says install ATI management console first that way u will be able to install most of the other components remotly to any networked computer. That sounds like magic to me.

So could someone outline the steps to take on each pc? Not too much detail i hope i can get the details out of the manual. TIA
