[Solved]Please Check My Log & d3dm trojan (two threads merged)

I've run AdAware, CWShredder, & Spybot but each time I restart my computer, new viruses appear. Redirects to myexexexex have been a persistant problem also.

CAn you please download the file Pv.Zip from here..

http://www.zerosrealm.com/downloads/pv.zip

Unzip to folder and make sure you are online and have one explorer windows open (like startpage)

Then doubleclick runme.bat, choose option 2 and post the log along with fresh hijackthis log in a reply to be checked.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinTools] C:\Program Files\Common files\WinTools\WToolsA.exe

Then download:
http://tools.zerosrealm.com/dllfix.exe
Doubleclick it and install in folder of choice on the root drive, in your case C:\
Run start.bat and press option 1. 'output.txt' will be created in the folder
Post the content of that file.

Both logs (the one NewKid asked for and the last one) show no sign of infection any more.
All we can do is hope it stays that way.

Many thanks but I'm still having a problem. I don't seem to be redirected when browsing but my homepage has keeps getting reset to about:blank. The new hijack log has a bunch of new entries to this effect. What else can I do?

Your new log clearly shown us the sign of infection.

Do you have the utility which Pieter suggested you earlier ? If not then please download it from : http://tools.zerosrealm.com/dllfix.exe

Doubleclick on it and install in folder of choice on the root drive, in your case C:\.

Run start.bat and press option 1. A text file named output.txt will be created in the folder. Please show us the content of that file in your next reply.

Please download http://www.rokop-security.de/main/download.php?op=getit&lid=59
Close as many programs as you can and start the program you downloaded.
Click the *Desinfektion starten* button.
Your computer should reboot fairly quickly (within minutes)
If not, post back.

If it does your first screen after the reboot will be the same program, click the same button (different name, I forget what) and you are ready.

Then post a new HijackThis log.

I ran the program as suggested, then my other anti-virus tools. Every time I reboot I detect new objects in AdAware, otherwise everything seems to be working fine.

Hi rlc,

You did have a nasty CWS infection in your previous logs, but I am not seeing any sign that that's returned in this log.

Where is the location of the file that AVG says is infected?

Hi rlc,

Copy the contents of the bold text to Notepad.
Name the file Appinit.bat
Save as type *All Files*
Save on the Desktop.

Reg save "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows" windows1.hiv
ren windows1.hiv windows.txt

Double click on Appinit.bat
This will create a file on the desktop named windows.txt
Post the content please.

I suspect AVG is finding the hidden dll that was responsible for your CWS hijack.

No longer in hiding and no longer being started there.

I really see no reason why it can't be deleted.

Have you tried in safe mode ?

Wasn't able to delete in safe mode or with killbox but I found that in safe mode I could change the security settings of the file to give myself priviledges which allowed me to delete it once and for all.
