    OMG save me!!!!! I have no idea what i am doing so here is my log, please help!!! Ohh I usually use Spibot S&D but I also run SpySweeper, doesnt seem to be doing much good though.

    Pls. save Hijackthis in its OWN folder - like C:\HIjackThis.

    First update or download CWShredder to version 1.59.1
    CWShredder (http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/~merijn/files/CWShredder.exe)
    Use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

    Check the following items in HijackThis.
    Close all windows except HijackThis and click "Fix checked":

    NOTE....even in safe mode you may have to open taskmanager and end task on some of them before you can delete them.

    Make sure you can view hidden and system files: Instructions here

    Then Boot to safe mode: Instructions here

    Delete the following files\folders IF still present:

    C:\Program Files\TV Media <-------folder
    C:\Program Files\zSearch <---------folder

    Then reboot and use AdAware as described :
    HERE

    Then use the Disk Cleanup Utility to empty all your Temp folders.

    Then Disable system restore: Instructions here
    Reboot

    Enable System Restore.

    Pls. post another log.

    I was able to do this:
    but I couldnt do this:
    When I click some of the links I end up with "simpli" or "flaslightsearch"

    yes the link worked, but with that stupid flashlightsearch thing it seems to pick certain links and hog them, LOL, Ill try this again now

    Ok with the disk clean up, On my computer it just starts up by itself and I cant follow these direction:
    Am I just suppose to run it like it is or do I need to figure out how to change it?

    ummmm, I have done it a few times recently, I just did it then went to bed and let it run out. I guess Ill have to do that again tonight and just finish in the morning.

    STILL calculating free space, it hasnt changed in 12+ hours. I wonder if there is something wrong?

    that is NOT normal.

    Try it this way :

    Now, empty your TEMP Folder / Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your "Recycle Bin" and reboot.

    If there are MORE users - you have to clean them ALL.

    browse to the C:\documents and settings\\User Name > local settings > temp folder > delete all files and folders in it.

    Then browse to the C:\Windows\Temp folder and delete all files in it.

    Then in internet explorer click tools>internet Options>General. Click on Delete Files make sure you get all offline content as well.
