I currently dont run a software firewall on my machines, as im behind a NAT with Firewall.
I have PeerGuardian 2 on my drone machine which is used for downloading P2P.

Got me wondering if there are any software firewalls with good blocklist support (ideally autoupdate as I dont check my drone for days on end sometimes) ?

Outpost's Blockpost plugin is the only firewall that can handle large blocklists.. All other firewalls will drag your system down the more IP's you load into it.

Protowall is another standalone IP blocker that is designed to work beside any firewall like Sygate , Zonealarm , Tiny etc that cant handle blocklists.

The main Bluetack lists , spyware/hijackers , level 1/p2p , level 2 corp and Complete Whois and D-Shield lists are all updated daily.
