    To everyone from Firefighter!

About those programs that failed. According to Andreas's Marx:

"All manufacturers nevertheless promised fast remedy except Nod32 in the form of updates." o_O

Corrections have been done to some free cleaner programs in that Rokop test.

    http://www.rokop-security.de/main/article.php?sid=666

    Using WorldLingo translator,

    http://www.worldlingo.com/wl/Translate

the Rokop site looks like that.

"As is to be reread in our first test, has the Tools of Eset, McAfee and Bitdefender our examination under Windows XP not existed. The Tool of H+BEDV existed the test, however straight did not show up user-friendly. Therefore we now tested again, whether and which changed.

    McAfee Stinger

The Multicleaner is now in a new version available and functioned now perfect.

    Bitdefender Sober Cleaner

Bitdefender also revised its Cleaner, that our test now with Bravour existed.

    NOD32 Sober Cleaner

Also Eset brought out meanwhile a errorsettled version of the Cleaners. As soon as the Cleaner is called, will the worm processes scheduled and the Scan can be begun.

    AntiVir Sober removal Tool

The program of H+BEDV, that had actually existed the test, again one revised and is simpler now to serve. Click to the file is sufficient now, in order to examine and clean the computer."

But as you know the sober worm is dead in the water even in Germany ..and everyone is back drinking TEQUILA. Thats was the case 3 days after the first tool came out..so it appears all that circus about which ones did or did not work was all for naught..but it was fun :D

So my question there FF..is how did it all get cleaned up if some of those tools were Kaput o_O?

I guess only Peter HUTH can answer that one ;)

With all the money he made..maybe he will buy the next round of drinks.
