    Hi,

I have created a private subnet between 2 virtual machines in vmware. the host computer acts as a dhcp server using vmware's builtin dhcp server

I have one virtual machine running windows xp and Snap Deploy 3. The PXE Server has been set-up and is up-and-running. All Acronis services appear as "running" in the windows service console.

I created a second virtual machine, and I wanted to boot via PXE. It correctly detects the PXE server, but things go wrong when the VM wants to connect to the TFTP service (I get a time-out).

I assume the vmware dhcp server does not provide the tftp server's ip address to this new host.

    The screen looks like this:

    ---
DHCP IP: 192.168.10.254 PROXY IP: 192.168.10.128
    PXE-E32: TFTP open timeout
    PXE-E32: TFTP open timeout
    ---

The ip listed after PROXY IP is my Snap Deploy server.

Exactly what do you need to configure in a DHCP server to make TFTP work for PXE boot?
