    Hi all,

We're running Acronis Snap Deploy 3 (build 3292), and trying to image HP laptops with SSD's (solid state drives).

We've had no problem in the past imaging other Dell & HP laptops/desktops with IDE or SATA drives, but in this instance, it is hanging at the 'Loading, please wait....' screen.

This problem has so far affected HP EliteBook 2510p and 2530p laptops.

I've upgraded to the latest build available on Acronis' website, but still no luck. I see Acronis say all their products work with SSD's, so this issue could relate to something else, but nothing else springs to mind.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Chris

This was resolved by replacing various files supplied by Acronis support, see email from them below:

Please download and decompress kernel.dat and ramdisk.dat files from the following archives to update your Acronis Bootable Rescue media and PXE Server.

http://download.acronis.com/sl/nkbm...Deploy3292osd_multiparam_Standard_english.zip - please replace kernel.dat and ramdisk.dat files from the following directory with the downloaded files:

    \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\OSDDemon

http://download.acronis.com/sl/nlgs...Deploy3292mic_multiparam_Standard_english.zip - please replace kernel.dat and ramdisk.dat files from the following directory with the downloaded files:

    \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\ImageCreator

http://download.acronis.com/sl/uyqb...loy3292sdl_multiparam_Standard_english_il.iso - please replace kernel.dat and ramdisk.dat files from the following directory with the downloaded files:

    \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\OSDStandAlone

After that please recreate Acronis Bootable Media with Acronis Standalone Utility. Reload Acronis Snap Deploy Agent and Master Image Creator components at the Acronis PXE Server and you will be able to boot the updated version of these components from PXE. Or recreate Acronis Bootable Media with all the three components.

I have an HP Compaq 6730b laptop and am having the same issues. I have done the steps provided in the thread above, and the disk will still not load.

Is there any other way to fix this issue?
