slow scan of archive ( slow extract from archive)

    I noticed that lets say 50 MB rar archive need maybe 45 seconds to scan even archive contains only 10-15 elements
    Also when unrar that arcive I need to wait : it is to slow.
    Disabling ESET get lighting unrar.
    Is any way to increase speed od cheching ( unrar) archive with NOD enabled?
    windows 7 x 64
    4 GB ram

    Couldn't it be that the archive contains other sfx archives, installers? If not, some of the files must be packed with a runtime packer, ie. they are decompressed in memory before execution. There's an option to enable/disable scanning runtime archives as well as advanced heuristics, however, it is not safe to disable them (especially AH).

    So far, as rar archive is bigger then scanning time is bigger. But it look like that is ahil heel of all AV products. Only one is capable of scanning archive in near realtime...
