I have a laptop using windows XP pro.
when you open up internet explorere and try to use the
    address bar IE stops responding
However if I set google as the home page and search for
the site I tried to type in the address bar I can get to
    the site fine.
Also when I double click on "my computer" I just get the
hour glass searching for the drives
System restore was off for some reason so I cannot go
back to a working day. I removed andy new programs and re-
installed IE [removed it from windows component and
    reinstalled]
I have even done a repair booting of the XP CD but still
    have the same issue
I scanned for spyware and nothing on that front as well. I ran all the recommended spyware and virus program and here is the hijack this log file
