sleep mode no internet

whenever i put my computer in sleep mode there isnt internet when i resume. I reinstalled my network driver but it didn't work. What can it be?

 

what os, what security software, what kind of connection (wired; wireless) ? in general, more info

 

vista avast and pc tools firewall wireless

 

I have Vista with a dialup connection and when I use sleep mode it kills the connection. I don't know about wireless though.

 

That happens to me sometimes. Other times, my wireless connection is fine when I come out of sleep mode. I'm on XP.

When it does happen, I right click the wireless icon in the systray and do a "repair". That always fixes it. Slightly annoying, but I can live with that.

 

yes alot of people i heard have his problem. Sometimes it doesnt connect when coming out of sleep mode and i have to reboot
