Slash and Burn CEO for MS

Alan Mulally, CEO Ford reportedly being courted by Microsoft. He is touted as a cost cutting, restructuring CEO. If he gets the nod, then the Board at MS will have expressed its expectations in no uncertain terms. Slash and burn is not something that we would have associated with Microsoft in the past, but if this is the leading candidate then one can only assume that there is going to be some chunks of the company that will be soon missing parts. The target(s) being the most intriguing aspect of this.
