Can a single file or a group of files i.e., a folder be restored without having to
    restore the complete image??

    thank you,

Yes. That's the first thing you want to try out.

    Hello savagcl

Use the Explore Image Wizard to mount and explore your image then just drag and drop the files/folders you want to restore.

    Regards

Thanks, tried that restore folder and/or files and it works good.

I'm using Acronis 7.0 (works good foe me).

One question please, Is it possible to have the F11 (restore image) without
having a secure zone? I ask because i only do full image backups..

    thanks again,
    savagcl

    Hello savagcl,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Since Acronis Recovery Manager can be installed only to Acronis Secure Zone you need to create it first. If you choose "Activate Acronis Startup Recovery Manager" the Secure Zone will be created as well.

    Thank you.
