Simple Ad block v0.8.2 IE
Thank you lunaticdreams,
I will give this a test run and see how it goes.
Is this suppose to auto update? Not that it really matters since it appears not to affect me. I don't use IE 6 or 7.
How does it work? When you launch it, nothing seems to happen, except for the fact that you get to see a DOS window for less than a second.
Seems a bit fishy to me.
Its a Browser Helper Object (BHO). Works similar to Ad Block Plus in Firefox (in fact, I believe ABP is it's inspiration.) When running, it shows an icon down on the Status Bar.
Definitely blocks ads. The Yahoo homepage clearly shows it works...
yes it works good,,is base on easylist fiter..what i don't know is how the filter updates,,or it has to be manually.
That´s weird, I didn´t see no icon in the statusbar, I will try again.
Separate names with a comma.
