should i disable imon

    i am not using outlook express or microsoft outlook so should i disable imon

    In case you don't use any ISP-based email client at all, there's no need for the IMON.

    Well, the new progr. comp. update will have Internet filter incorporated. It will be capable of blocking exploits (like the RPC bug exploit when Lovsan and other similar worms caused computer restarts on NT systems) so if you like this feature, IMON will have to be enabled.

    IMON isn't limited to working on only MS email programs. If you're using another email program IMON still works (or should). I have Poco Mail and IMON scans incoming emails.

    If you only use web mail through your browser, as Paul said, that's another matter.
