    Hi

Not used Shadowsurfer for ages and I have PG installed

When rebooting after enabling Shadowsurfer I get the following alert from PG:-

Shadowsurfer is now showing as enabled.

    Questions therefore are:-

Does Shadowsurfer need this to function properly and is it safe to allow it.

    Thanks

    Don't worry guys.

I've given it global hook privileges and now I have a very garish green wallpaper when in Shadow Mode so it guess the global hook is just for those cosmetic purposes.

Unless I'm wrong and it's doing something else as well then don't hesitate to post :)

    Hi there,

I use ShadowUser and if I don't allow 'install global hooks' to 'suatshut.exe' and 'shadowuser.exe' the program won't change into the shadowmode screen appearance (which tells you are in shadowmode).

Whether the global hook privilege affects other functions I don't know, but I don't see why deny this privilege.
