I hope to be setting up a new pc tonight.
It will have the GA-EP35-DS3R motherboard.
    Which comes with Xpress Recovery2.
And I already own Shadow Protect desktop imaging software.
Which would be better to use?
If it's SP, anybody know how to disable Xpress Recovery2?
I thought a hobby was supposed to reduce stress.

    Hugger,

Shocked to hear about your DS3R induced high blood pressure:D

No question at all,SP is 100% preferable.

XR is a very simple system, almost an ISR,without the options of SP,just backs up the main drive ,on a seperate main drive partition.

A bit like Windows Systems Restore

XR also cant protect the hardware, say your C drive karks, then you are in major trouble.

Just ignore it and it will go away, except for the banner on the BIOS screen.

If it tries to load itself, clear the BIOS by holding(shorting) a steel ruler against the two clearing pins near the CMOS battery, for about 20 secs.

If the computer blows up, you will know you did something wrong.
