sfc /scannow

    I do not have the cd to use so I have been trying to run this without the cd as shown on the internet. Has anyone run this without the cd and have you had any positive results. If so, would you please post the instructions on how you were able to accomplish this.

    what page is that?

    Here's one I usually link too fyi. You need the 1386 folder.

    I, for some reason have not been able to get the sfc /scannow to work even with the above info. I must have a corrupted I386 file.
