I've made the switch over to Vista (Ultimate SP1) and changed some stuff around. I'm for free solutions so if anyone thinks I should add, take away, or replace something please offer some advice. I'm currently using:

    AV: Avira Antivir Personal
    AS: Integrated Windows Defender
FW: Vista Firewall w/ FireWall Control
    HIPS: Threatfire
    Isolation: GeSWall Free
Other: Spybot (immunizations only), Spywareblaster, Acronis True Image

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Returnil was hard for me to use properly with the way I have partitioned my hard drive raid. I used safespace for awhile on xp but I couldn't get it to work with firefox on vista for whatever reason. Is GeSWall considered virtualization or not? I'm not clear on exactly what makes virtualization different from isolation or if they are the same.

GesWall is a policy-based sandbox, not a full virtualization app...

But I can't comment any further on it, since I know very little about it...
