I am constantly getting a server connection failure message and have not been able to either manually or automatically update since 3/10/04. I am rather computer illiterate so please don't smother me with computer jargon.

Your User Name and Password are CASE SENSITIVE, and as such must be typed in precisely, better still COPY and PASTE each into the Control Centre\
    Update\update\Setup

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

Have done that, it worked fine for about a month then suddenly wouldn't.

Are your server settings the same as here, as in servers are set to "Choose Automatically"?

    Cheers :D

Yes, servers are set to choose automatically. The link from your reply went into all sorts of things, not sure how much of that I was meant to check.

What is the virus signature version number that you currently have?

    Cheers :D

    No problem.

Where did you purchase your Nod32 license from?

Can you download a FRESH copy of Nod32 using your UN and PW from here

    AFTER this do the following:

    Uninstall Nod32

    Reboot

Remove the Eset Folder found in C Drive> Program Files

Reinstall the Fresh copy of Nod32.

Let us know how you go...

    Cheers :D

When I try to go to that site it says page cannot be displayed - I think I will have to go off-line then come back again - will I lose all this conversation if I do that?

    Good to see.

May I suggest having a look at this thread to tweak up your Nod32.

    Cheers :D
