I'm runing a demo so can't fully test things.
Maybe someone inhere is kind enough to take some time to answer my questions.

I intend to install TI on the machine I want to place my backups on.
AI should make backups of all machines on the network and store them on the 'backup server'

I've read somewhere its impossible to backup open files over the LAN.
Other similar sofware overcomes this by installing (small) clients that handle requests send out by the main program.
How does AI tackle this problem?
According to the manual 'Secure Zone' must be on a local drive. From that I understand that 'Secure Zone' must be on the same PC as the program.
But then it's impossible to backup open files. Or not?

It's just a personal heavyly loaded home network.
Only the main machine has a screen/keyboard/mouse etc
Usually that's no problem because i use Dameware remote control for the occassional access to those boxes.

But what if why main machine is completly trashed. ie windows doesn't boot.
Can I still use the emergency boot disk?
And can it access the network/backup server?
