After a research on the internet I've decided to buy a five pack licenses of NOD32 for our small lan.

The primary reason I've moved to NOD is performance . I've read many messages about NOD's performance and it looks like it is the fastest AV. But this is reader opinion........

If true that's a very important feature when leaving AMON active (Read/write/execute).

Nevertheless I'm looking for serious perfomance tests if any.

Did someone publish authorative performance benchmarks?

    Thanks

    Yes .
Visit AV-Comperatives , Virus Bulletin 100% (search in Google for them)
and read their tests . These are popular and reputable journals where you can see how NOD32 is quoted/compared . You will see detection rates / scan speed . NOD32 is among the first in detection rate , the first when talking about Proactive/heuristic detection , and one of the fastest and lightest products on the market :thumb:

What I would like improved is:
    - User interface
    - Right-mouse context-menu functionallity
    - Rescue Disk: bootable CD with NOD; easy to implement alà Kaspersky (they simply pack togheter BartPE with the AV files and burn the CD, obtaining a clean XP startup CD with NTFS, FAT & FAT32 readability).

I read your post in the sticky thread with the suggestions .
I have nly twice used NOD32 to clean virus from a bootable CD . I use Nero burning software , use it to create bootable CD, in that CD I choose to add NOD32 for DOS or ESET's directory(folder) . Then , the cd is ready . I boot from it and start either the DOS version or start nod32.exe via commands and the machine is checked , NOD was able to clean/delete all the malware , tested on NFTS XP machines . You can try it if you have Nero or similar software ;)

In that way you won't be able to access NTFS volumes......
