Sent traffic?

Hi

I have Outpost Firewall Pro

I noticed in Outpost my sent traffic is almost 1/2 of received traffic

For example today I have 3.15 gig received and 1.58 gig sent

I don't use torrents, P2P & ...

My avast av has most traffic use ... you can see

sent : 1 661 805 064 Bytes = 1.54 Gig
Received : 1 670 812 537 Bytes = 1.55 Gig

Is that normal?

I mean it is only av scan traffic or real sent file?

It's because the avast! WebShield (running inside AvastSvc.exe) works as a proxy, which means that all your web traffic is counted twice - once for the browser, communicating with AvastSvc.exe, and second for AvastSvc.exe communicating with the web servers.
