Sends 3 emails instead of 1

It seems like this problem started when I installed NOD32. When I am sending 1 email - using MS Outlook - Outlooks indicates that I am sending 3 emails. When I look at the sent items folder I just see the 1 email I intended to send. So what are those other emails and where are they going.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The extra 2 emails concern me greatly.

Just curious.... when you disable EMON or IMON temporarily and send mail, does it still do the three emails? If so, then my guess is that its something other than NOD causing the issue.

I just tried what you suggested and I still get the 3 email problem so I guess it isn't NOD32.
I guess I am going to have to try to isolate the problem to something else.

this sounds like mailserver end -rather than client. If you want the progress when sending - does it take a long time, or is it snappy and very quick to complete?
