    Hi all,
I need to find out how to manually email the install files that I have to a user who is never in the office.

Our mail server strips .exe files so using the 'Send via email' option is no good.

Can I simply send the nod32installer.exe(rename it to .xex) and the config file that we have to the user and let her install it like that. Does the installer and the config file need to be in the same folder?

Has anyone had to do something similar?

    Cheers

Ok so I can see that the installer needs the nod32installer.exe and the nod32_nt.nip file(they are sitting in the RA\server\packages folder). Can I send them both out and have them in the same folder and just get the user to double click them to start the install?

if your mailserver strips executables, I don't see how you can - I would upload them to a server as a self extracting zip - then email the users instructions which includes a download link.
