Looking for opinions and observations as to what current versions of security suites use the least system resources. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.:D

I am looking for a very light suite that gets the job done.

There are several but my vote would be KIS 7

The lightest and most powerful suite has to be KIS7. Nothing that I'm aware of offers as much solid protection that also runs as lightly.

Light is very subjective... you mean running well of just use less RAM?

With recent hardware now equipped with 3GIG. RAM most of the suite on the market are light... even if they consume 100MB.
On the other hand, the true "running light on the system" is when the suite run without noticing it.
For the latter case you will see that it depends a lot on local conditions, so something light for a user is not light for another...

Excellent suites that are running light on my setup are:
    KIS, ZASS, AVIRA, NORTON...

You need to try them to know exactly if they are "light" also on you system!!
And have a good backup/rollback software....

Without further qualification or requirements, the majority of the available suites meet the bill here. It would be best for you to try a few available trial packages and see which actually works well on your specific system as results may vary from PC to PC.
