Security Software for Firefox

I ONLY use the Firefox browser. Please suggest me the best free privacy software compatible with this browser like for spyware removal, prevention et al.

Since most spyware prevention programs are compatible only wit IE, can u advise me on some robust programs for privacy protection for Firefox.
