    Hi all-

    I have put together a questionnaire designed to help people understand how secure their computer is. This test is designed to give you an understanding of how well your computer security is managed. The security rating will let you know what your chances of defending your computer, files and data against viruses, spyware and trojans. The test consists of 27 computer and data security related question. Should take most only a few minutes to complete.

    I was hoping people here could give me some feedback on the questions and ratings. I would like to do both a basic and advanced version questionnaire but for now it is what it is.

    How secure is my computer quiz

    Thanks in advance
    Inom

    Hi inom
    A questionnaire is good and gets interest in you, so while I was there I had a good look around.
    The site is well layed out with some great information and articles, looks good also. I will certainly come back and have a look again.
    Many tests : browser info, ip, popup test...
    So to be curtious I answered your questionnaire. Some good basic questions there. Some of the questions, subjects can be done securly (banking, storing private information) so would like to see the advance when it is done. :thumb:

    Great test, maybe it will force beginners to think about those questions and secure their PC.
    My results: Your computer is very poorly protected. BTW, how can I register to see Top 10?

    Maybe the first question could be wich OS is being used, this can have quite an impact on the security of the system.
    I use a linux-distro and i don't have any antispyware or AV/AT installed on it.

    an advanced question could be "Which cookies does your browser accept?" All, 1st party, session, none, I use a whitelist, etc. there could also be a question about phishing.

    A couple of typos in your opening paragraph:

    filed => files
    question => questions

    Regards updating AVs, maybe an option for updating at intervals less than 24 hours?

    For q27, perhaps a choice for online backup should be provided seeing as you recommend mozy.com in one of your articles.
