    It's a me again!

Just want to know what I should be setting my Firefox and IE settings to for maximum security. I'm aware that there are some sites out there that provide this kind of info but this is Wilders and i'm sure some of you have figured out some different methods on how to lock down these browser as tight as they can go.

    Thanks again.

Lock down a browser? Well run it without javascript, java, activeX etc helps a lot. :)

This is one of the best summaries I've seen - though it doesn't discuss the Firefox browser: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topict1628.html

Very clear and concise instructions on 'hardening' the IE browser, and solid advice on recommended security and privacy programs.

Here's another IE mod that's very effective:
    - Click on Tools/Internet Options/Privacy/Advanced
    - Click on 'Block Third Party Cookies'

    Hope this helps!
