    Hello boys and girls,
Being a complete Android n00b I'm trying to secure my Xperia Ray from a privacy standpoint. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations or thought on the subject?

    Ideally I'd like to:
    • Retain full base functionality, i.e. data/mobile wifi hotspot etc.
    • "Un-Google" it, i.e. remove everything Google (I am aware of the fact that Android IS Google and that wanting an Android phone without Google is retarded).
    • Block any and all data migration such as device ID, IMEI, SIM number, GPS location, WIFI location etc. (I am aware that the carrier will have access to which cell tower I am close to, my IMEI and SIM etc.).
    • Have whole disc encryption

Any and all advise appreciated, thanks,
    j
