I looked at your new web site and I don't see any option for Identity Shield only version. Being force to pay $80 to get it is not an option for me :( and I suspect quite a few other people too.

I am also puzzled too about one of your product "Spyware and Virus Removal Service" for $130. Just wondering if people buy any of your Antivirus Webroot products and it didn't remove it 100% are people being force to buy this $130 service or do WSA users get free support to remove it 100% ?

I'll speak to the team here but it looks like as of today, we are not supporting single user Complete licenses.

You should be able to - if it doesn't work properly, please write into our support inbox. One of the next updates will automatically uninstall your existing copy of WISE/WISC but this isn't currently live.

You'll be not alone by any means,it'll be a huge "own goal" to not offer a single-pc licence imo.$79.95 is about £52.00 in proper money, very expensive for a single pc.

It'd not be so bad if you could convert this to a 1 pc 3 year licence, otherwise I think a lot of customers will switch to more affordable options in, what is,a very competitive marketplace.

Ok thanks, I'll try it when the time comes. At the moment I also have current Prevx license, which I shouldn't waste, but it is specific to particular PC, so to use it must reinstall Prevx 3.0, which feels like a backward step with WRSA available now.

Downloaded a 30 day trial of SecureAnywhere. Needed to uninstall my existing security first, I have Norton 2012 and the paid for version of Prevx 3.0. However having read the reviews it appears Norton is nearly as good as SecureAnywhere, so if you add Prevx 3.0 to Norton surely this would be as good as or better than the security that is to replace it ? Well what do you think ? If I stick with Prevx and Norton I have a layered approach to my security, if I go with the new security software I lose that. I'm thinking I'll stick with what has served me well for many years and give SecureAnytime a miss for now, that is unless someone can tell me I'm wrong ?

Eventually Prevx users will be upgraded to SecureAnywhere:
WSA will work alongside Norton in much the same way Prevx does now. You'll be able to use both without conflict.

Hi TonyW, please see PrevxHelp post number 3 this thread "One thing to keep in mind is that the products do not co-exist so for the time being, you're probably going to need to choose one or the other."
Have I misunderstood ? The idea of running both Norton and SecureAnywhere would certainly be welcomed by me.

Prevx 3.0 and WSA don't co-exist. WSA co-exists with everything else. I'll clarify my previous post as well.

Running soo smooth on my Windows 7 x64 machine, like no other security protection. Very, very impresive product, Webroot...welcome from stone age signature based antiviruses, to present time...cloud based protection. What I dont like, is no option buy just single 1 Licence, I dont need protection for 3 PC. Also if I buy legal licence for Webroot Security Essential 2011 from discount store, can I use it for new Webroot Security Anywhere after my 30 day trial?

Thanks and keep great work Webroot!:)

Will this be sold in stores? The reason I ask is because packages sold in stores you can usually find discounts for. Norton, McAfee, AVG, Kaspersky, etc....

That was one of the issues I always has with Prevx, is though I liked it, it was more expensive than competitors when factoring in sales, discounts, rebates, etc...

Would be awsome with a nice release offer :D I cant afford to pay 63$ (tax alone is 13$) for a 3license AV one year

Well done with Editors Choice. What happens with Prevx Free when SecureAnywhere comes on line? Will definitions updates cease? Will there be a free version anymore?

I can assure you the 1 user license would cost the same as the 3. The problem is that most vendors are still left in the days of dinosaurs and offer a 1 user license.

Kudos to Webroot for offering a 3 user for what in reality, others would charge for a 1 user license. :thumb:

Just installed the trial, scan finished within two minutes, and that was even on an older 5400rpm HDD, anyone with a fast SSD tested yet? :ninja: :p
I noticed that the WSA icon in systray gives a warning because there are only 30 days left on the license, but the Identity Shield lock is now not visible because there is already an exclamation mark in the way.

What settings does the security level in the WSA oline account settings change?

    Ok, nice :)

:thumb: Or maybe a lifetime license deal for beta testers?

BTW - WRSA detects the latest CIS beta installer as a trojan dropper.

Following the scan and saving the log, did you report as a FP and send the MD5 hash to the Support Team?

MailWasher Pro did that for their beta testers.

Idk lifetime licenses kind of feels too much. I think a 1 year license would be just as great. :doubt:

Maybe you misunderstood. I am not asking for a free lifetime license, but rather a "deal" on one.
