Secure a computer

    Hey, was just wondering, what kinda apps can i use to secure up a computer, kinda like xp-antispy.

    Safe XP is one. So is xSetup v663. 663 was the last version I think that worked fully for free.

    SpywareBlaster is another, incase you didn't know about it already. ;)

    I assume this would be for general purpose computing. But, if there's some specific purpose(s) that might significant narrow the scope of the risks, or a specific concern(s), your efforts to secure the computer could possibly be easier.

    Have a look a Secunia. It will show you all the apps on the system that are security risks and require updating to the latest, most secure versions.

    Maybe you can look to "xpy" and "Security & Privacy Complete"

    HostsXpert is highly useful, regulary updated, and blocks known malware/phishing/advertisment/tracking domains.
