I am a new user of Hard Disk Manager 2011 suite.

I have been doing a number of test backup and restores of various scenarios to get comfortable with HDM2011.

The restored volumes always boot fine and seem to run fine, but if I do a boot-time chkdsk check I get a message right at the end, that "the second NTFS boot sector is unwriteable". This message does not appear on an chkdsk check of the source volume.

I have google the message and seen suggestions that the hard disk may be failing due bad sectors, so I have repeated with different hard drink, but get same message.

    Thanks for any input.
