search_glow

    Have been reading a few of the forms and see the search_glow seems to be problem.. I m not very computer savvy when it comes to fixing computer glitches. however I was trying to update my windows defender and it will not let me download to complete it.. it is telling me i have to turn off or remove search_glow first and have no idea where it came from or what it is.. could someone please help me with this problem.

    Hello!

    Actually, I was having MAJOR issues today, resulting from "search_glow".
    I did some searching and found that it is directly related to the Microsoft Live Toolbar.

    As soon as I removed the MS Live Toolbar, the problem went away COMPLETELY.

    I've seen other posts linking it to MSN, etc., but this worked for me --- again, perfectly!
