    I haven't payed attention to Mozilla in years. So what happened they killed the Mozilla browser, and now it's SeaMonkey?

    I remember when SeaMonkey started but at the same time it seemed like the Mozilla browser was still being developed.

    Correct. SeaMonkey is the successor to the Mozilla suite.

    That's what I figured...

    Why did they drop the Mozilla name?

    Hmm the next browser is going to be called ---> BarrelOfMonkeys :)
