There is also http://www.yauba.com/ - I can't say how good the results are compared to Scroogle but it looks interesting from the privacy point of view.

Ixquick also fairly speedy for me, on a couple of machines with different software/hardware. You don't get a lot of search results, of course, compared
    to others. I use:

Scroogle's search results are much better then IxQuick's :(
And if you uncheck every engine except google in IxQuick, no results are found, so it seems they have the same problem as Scroogle.

Failing a return - not the end. Find yourselves "better searching without _oogle" (or Fravia) and you'll discover several alternatives exist.

I don't see any announcement on the above link. In fact I don't see any announcement anywhere there, and https://ssl.scroogle.org/ works like it did before.

    o_O :doubt:

It's back up again, maybe Google made some changes for them? They haven't announced anything.

I have advised them @ Scroogle TO NOT TALK TO GOOGLE ABOUT THIS as they are trying to block them!!

I gave them some tips to get them going again and i hope they dont blow it :)

Google really has gotton quite intrusive (Like M$) and its sad......
