mousepad is a text editor available for Xfce. Looks the same as leafpad which is the default in Xubuntu. gedit is a little more advanced. .gtkrc is the config file for themes. If you look in the .themes folder (in your home folder) you should see them there - several if you have installed different themes (one for each theme). Have a great 2012 !

Covergloobus http://gabriela2400.deviantart.com/art/APPOWS-for-Covergloobus-170824418 the titlebar theme is Atolm not Atolm-gtk. i'm going to set this up on my laptop i put tux in the top left hand corner, but i think he looks a bit like a duck.
very nice theme iceni60 Beavenburt you are xfce king man i always wanted to try vector linux but never did hows the stability of it. also which xfce distro you found best after debian if its your 1st default choice
Hi Mack Vector is as stable as they come being based on Slackware while it releases about every couple of years. It also feels fast and lean. I know that's subjective but it just feels lean and mean and quick. It also has quite a sane group of default applications. sbopkg for easily installing slackbuilds works well if one requires an app that isn't in the repos. nvidia drivers installed fine, suspend / resume work, all hardware including my printer/scanner combo is recognised. The install process is a bit drawn out with lots of obtions but it does work flawlessly. I tell you I've fell in love with Vector. Additionally, for the awesome infinality font rendering packages, grab them from here:- http://someslack.wordpress.com/2012/01/03/infinalitys-font-rendering-on-slackware-2/ I'd have to say Vector is now my fave xfce distro. I like most that i've tried including xubuntu but Vector to me feels right.
How typical is this, as soon as I start raving about a distro it only goes and fails to suspend properly!! Argghhh!!!
Belated Thanks and Greetings, Ocky! Alles klar and I've done share of editing .gtkrc to domesticate the dreamy cat.
