Scheduled Tasks do not run

    They have been working fine for couple of months, I have 3 scheduled and they have stopped running since 3 weeks ago. This is on a PC thats on all the time.

    I checked the logs and no errors.

    Checked Event Viewer for XP and it doesn't show anything.

    I have Acronis Workstation, XP SP2. PC does not go into standby.

    This is a long shot, but a friend reported having backups suddenly stop quite recently, so there might be a common thread.

    Have you checked to see if some recent update from Microsoft or o_O? (but not Acronis) could be responsible?

    I'd check by restoring an image that was made by a scheduled backup, confirming that backups still run and then manually installing MS Windows updates.

    1st thing is to try to run one of task smanually to see if the task file has become corrupted or will execute. If the task file is wonky, then delete and try receating the task.
