I have set up a scheduled scan to be run weekly Sunday morning. When I check the scan log it doesn't show. If I check the in the schedule it says that it was run. What am I doing wrong?

Are you running a scheduled scan through Windows or through the NOD32 Control Centre?

    Cheers :D

I set up the scan as laid out in your great set up instructions. I want to thank you for time you put into them. The scan shows up in the schedule and says last run on Sunday as it should have. But does not show in the scan log.

    My pleasure.

Just to be certain, you are looking at the correct area, as in the following screenshot?

    Do you have a folder: C:\Program Files\ESET\logs ?

    Cheers :D

Blackspear I am looking in the right place. I can go into c/ program files/ Eset and there is a log folder. In the log folder is a NOD32 folder. Inside it is 3 sets of dat. files.

I'm having this same issue... I scheduled a system scan through the NOD32 scheduler, set to run every morning using the "Local" profile. Just to test it, I set the time to a few minutes ahead of the current time so I could watch it execute. The scheduled time rolled around and... nothing happened, as far as I can tell. About 15 minutes later, the scheduler showed that the scan was completed sucessfully. Looking at the NOD32 Scanner Logs, the scan shows:
    Scan time: 9/27/2006 18:43:18 PM
    Description: C:
    Scanned: 0
    Infected: 0
    Cleaned: 0
    Status: Cleaning
So.. did the scan run or not? And is there no way to actually watch it run? This seems like a really sloppy scheduler...

    Hi substream, welcome to Wilders.

    I’d say not.

Yes, don’t run a “Silent Scan”, run a “Nod32 Kernel – Execution of an external application” scan instead, as per the NOD32 Tutorial found HERE

    Cheers :D
