I just saw this clip on TV and though not the same, it reminded me of American Greg Louganis smacking his head on a diving board oh so many years ago at the Olympics. snowbound
Although she didn't break her nose, a lot of blood was seen on her face. I feel sorry for people who injure themselves whilst performing at world events! Poor girl; it was lucky she didn't break anything!
Do you agree that officials at these diving competitions should even think about having springboards for reverse divers? I don't think so. I believe they should consider placing platforms, in those positions, on the reverse side of the pool (e.g. 1m platform, 5m, 10m, etc) especially for reverse diving. It would reduce self-harm, wouldn't it? David.
