I have a StorCase enclosure with a hard drive in it. The hard drive is used to store digital pictures. Now my question is this. My step son has a computer with problems. Can I put his hard drive in the enclosure and scan it with my AV,AT and spyware programs? Would there be any precautions to follow?

As long as you don't execute anything off that drive (and there is no reason to), you should be fine. This is actually one of the better ways to clean things up.
