i am using ESET Smart Security4. while scanning Compressed OR Zipped files, the folllowing message is displayed "(File Name & Path) - decompression could not complete (possible reasons: insufficient free memory or disk space, or a problem with temp folders)"
    what should i do?

That error usually occurs when the compressed file is large. If you want to scan the whole archive, then you can decompress it and then run a scan of the folder. The real-time protection will scan the files when they are accessed, so that should not be necessary.

Check both the system and user temp / tmp folders. Make sure they exist and try emptying them. If you use Windows Vista with UAC enabled, try deleting the folders and recreating them from scratch so that permissions are set properly.
